Universidade Sénior de Évora - Associação de Desenvolvimento Comunitário
Senior University of Évora (USE) is a private, non profit association that develops non formal educational activities for people over 50 years. We have about 250 senior students and about 30 volunteer teachers. In this project we propose to coordinate, we intent to involve more students (especially man) in the natural sciences classes and open our classes to the community instead of being just inside the institution. We've established contacts with some primary schools, so that we want to do some intergenerational meetings. We've developed activities in this domain and as it was a success, we will keep it as a good pratice, for our own activities and also for the project partners.
